A small cast brass diya with a deep round well, a swastik raised at the centre and a band of scrollwork running round the rim. The pinched spout holds the wick steady and clear of the oil.
155g, so it has enough weight to sit still on a thali and won't skid when it's carried. Takes ghee or oil with a cotton phool vati or a twisted wick.

About our handmade products
Most of what we sell is made by hand in India: our murtis, mandirs, pooja items, sarees and clothing. Because each piece is made by hand, no two are exactly the same. The carving, painting, pattern, stitching or finish may differ a little from the photo. Wood grain and marble markings are natural and vary from piece to piece.
