Durga Mata (Ambe Maa) is the mother goddess of strength and protection. She rides a lion and holds weapons in her many hands to destroy evil. She is prayed to most of all at Navratri.
Here Maa Durga sits on her lion with her many arms holding weapons. It has a shiny gold finish with a purple and red painted saree and a smooth oval base. It is about 9cm (4 inch) tall and weighs about 169g. It suits a home temple, desk or shelf and makes a lovely gift. Each piece is made by hand, so it can be a little different from the photo.
About our handmade products
About our handmade products
Most of what we sell is made by hand in India: our murtis, mandirs, pooja items, sarees and clothing. Because each piece is made by hand, no two are exactly the same. The carving, painting, pattern, stitching or finish may differ a little from the photo. Wood grain and marble markings are natural and vary from piece to piece.
Colours can also look slightly different on each phone or laptop screen, and sizes are approximate.
If you need an exact colour, size or pattern, please message us on WhatsApp with a photo, or visit our shops on Ealing Road, Wembley, to see the item before you buy.
