Eco-Friendly Ganesh Visarjan Idol – Full Safa Set, Peacock Teal & Maroon, Purple Bolsters, ~15 inch

Peacock teal brocade with gold paisley butti trimmed in deep red velvet piping makes up the safa and dhoti, worn under a maroon velvet waistcoat worked in gold sequin scroll and finished with a long gold tassel at the back.

Part of the nine-piece Safa collection in this year's 15 inch range, each one dressed in real fabric rather than painted cloth.

Hand-painted on eco-friendly clay and dressed by hand.

Large embossed gold kundal ear discs set with red stones sit either side of the face, and a green bead necklace runs beneath the crystal chains — the only green beadwork in the Safa tier. He sits between round purple bolsters on a green mat over a rust-brown carved throne.
