Eco-Friendly Ganesh Visarjan Idol – Full Safa Set, Yellow & Red Brocade, ~12 inch

A marigold yellow silk dhoti scattered with gold butti sits under a deep red velvet angarkha worked in gold sequin scrollwork, with a yellow satin safa edged in red and gold zari, a rhinestone kalgi brooch and a white feather plume.

Part of the four-piece Safa collection in this second 12 inch batch, each one dressed in real fabric rather than painted cloth.

The back of the safa opens into a knife-pleated cream fan. A rhinestone brow chain runs along the trunk, turquoise cabochons are set at each ear, and the lower hand cradles a large green modak finished with a gold finial. He sits on a carved wooden throne with a violet cushion.
