Eco-Friendly Ganesh Visarjan Idol – Marigold Dhoti, Seated on the Mushak, 6 inch

A marigold amber dhoti with gold leaf strokes, worn with a rani pink khes sculpted into stiff pleated fans — one over the left shoulder, one spilling by the lower right with a gold-tipped end.

There is no mattress and no bolster here. He sits directly astride a large grey mushak that forms the entire seat, its head and forepaws protruding at his right and its haunch behind, the whole group mounted on a plain lavender plinth. The crown is a gold pagdi with a rolled brim and a moulded rosette at the side. One heavy gold chest chain sweeps in a V under the chin and loops across the trunk root, with red nail dots on the fingers and toes, and a white flower rosette between red crescent strokes on the brow.

The first of the mushak-mounted moulds in this batch — a different silhouette entirely from the seated ones. Hand-modelled eco clay, ready for a gentle immersion.
