Eco-Friendly Ganesh Visarjan Idol – Rani Pink Khes & Violet Gadi, 6 inch

A marigold yellow dhoti brightened with gold leaf highlights, under a rani pink khes that runs over the left shoulder and pools behind him.

Four arms, seated in lalitasana with the right leg folded and the left extended, the trunk curling to his left. The crown is a knobbly gold jata mukut with a small finial knot on top, and the brow carries two crimson crescents around a white five-petal flower with a red Om between them. A thick twisted gold rope mala hangs in a deep U on the chest with a second chain looping over the base of the trunk. He sits on a violet purple mattress with a brown wood-grain edge over a two-tier lilac plinth, a parrot green bolster behind his right hip and the mushak tucked into the front edge of the mattress.

Violet under green is the richest colour combination among the seated pieces here. Unfired clay, painted by hand, gentle on the water at visarjan.
