Guruvayurappan is Lord Vishnu as he is worshipped at the famous Guruvayur temple in Kerala. He holds the chakra, the conch, the mace and a lotus, and devotees pray to him for peace, health and blessings for the family.
This resin statue shows a blue Lord Vishnu in a yellow dhoti, standing on a pink lotus inside a colourful arch of red, blue, green and white garlands with two gold sun discs at the top. It stands on a black base. It is approximately 16cm (6 inch) tall and weighs approximately 252g. It looks lovely in a home temple, on a desk or shelf, or as a gift. Each piece is made by hand, so it can be a little different from the photo.
About our handmade products
About our handmade products
Most of what we sell is made by hand in India: our murtis, mandirs, pooja items, sarees and clothing. Because each piece is made by hand, no two are exactly the same. The carving, painting, pattern, stitching or finish may differ a little from the photo. Wood grain and marble markings are natural and vary from piece to piece.
Colours can also look slightly different on each phone or laptop screen, and sizes are approximate.
If you need an exact colour, size or pattern, please message us on WhatsApp with a photo, or visit our shops on Ealing Road, Wembley, to see the item before you buy.
