A pair of moulded plastic kartal, one for each hand, each bar fitted with four pairs of stainless steel jingles set into shaped cut-outs. Clap the two together and the jingles ring against each other — the steady kirtan rhythm, without the weight or splintering of the wooden pair.
The 22 inch bars give a fuller, brighter ring than the single hand kartal, and the moulded plastic wipes clean and survives being handed round a mandir hall. Sold as the matched pair.
