Resin Murugan Statue – Standing with Vel and Peacock, Gold, 29 inch

Lord Murugan (Kartikeya) stands with his vel, his peacock at his side, on a lotus base. This one is gold all over. Made from fibre resin and finished by hand.

A large piece at 29 inches tall. Good for a big home mandir, a pooja room or a hall.

Lord Murugan is the son of Shiva and Parvati. He is also called Kartikeya, Skanda and Subramanya. He is much loved in Tamil homes and is prayed to for courage, wisdom and success. His vel (spear) was a gift from his mother Parvati.
