A hand-carved Sevan wood mandir in plain, natural wood. The pale wood has a soft honey colour that gets warmer with age. This one has dark flower patterns carved on the top, the pillars and the drawer fronts, so the pattern shows clearly against the light wood.

The front is open, so your murtis stay in full view and daily aarti is easy. Round pillars stand on each side, and the shelf is deep enough for a full set. Two drawers in the base hold agarbatti, wicks and prayer beads.

The largest of our open-front Sevan mandirs. The one to choose if you want presence without the cost of the carved-door models.

Good for

  • Your home pooja room or living room
  • Griha pravesh (moving into a new home)
  • Daily pooja, Diwali and Navratri
  • A family gift for a wedding or new home

About our handmade products

Most of what we sell is made by hand in India: our murtis, mandirs, pooja items, sarees and clothing. Because each piece is made by hand, no two are exactly the same. The carving, painting, pattern, stitching or finish may differ a little from the photo. Wood grain and marble markings are natural and vary from piece to piece.

Colours can also look slightly different on each phone or laptop screen, and sizes are approximate.

If you need an exact colour, size or pattern, please message us on WhatsApp with a photo, or visit our shops on Ealing Road, Wembley, to see the item before you buy.
