How delivery and collection workHandmade items, so colours and details may differ a little from the photo.
Vasudev carrying baby Krishna in a basket across the river Yamuna on the night Krishna was born. A many-headed snake (Sheshnag) spreads its hood over the baby to keep him safe. Blue water waves are at the base.
This statue is painted in bright colours. It is about 12cm (5 inch) tall and weighs about 460g. It is a lovely piece for Janmashtami, for a home temple or as a gift. Each piece is painted by hand, so the colours can be a little different from the photo.
About our handmade products
About our handmade products
Most of what we sell is made by hand in India: our murtis, mandirs, pooja items, sarees and clothing. Because each piece is made by hand, no two are exactly the same. The carving, painting, pattern, stitching or finish may differ a little from the photo. Wood grain and marble markings are natural and vary from piece to piece.
Colours can also look slightly different on each phone or laptop screen, and sizes are approximate.
If you need an exact colour, size or pattern, please message us on WhatsApp with a photo, or visit our shops on Ealing Road, Wembley, to see the item before you buy.
